WHAT THE HELL?

Ads on SBS?

Who came up with that idea??

Okay, I'm a little slow to react to this, cos it was news aggeeess ago. But I don't watch SBS. Til tonight that is.

I'm watching a profile of Japanese-Australian designer Akira Isogawa. Full respect to that man, his designs are bloody brilliant. Then all of a sudden ads come on? WTF? Since when was it cool to have ads on SBS?

I'm going to be watching Eurovision 2007 with ads now? I don't get uninterrupted viewing pleasure next year?

Nip/Tuck Thoughts

I have to say no matter how much sexy time there is on Nip/Tuck, I still find it hilarious to watch.

So much so that one of my mates who used to abhor this show, is now totally hooked and can't wait for next week's episode

Jana Pittman names her kid Cornelius

So I heard on the radio this arvo that Jana Pittman (the one who caused some shit about the British not getting the gold medal in some relay and made Tamsyn Lewis hate her for a few weeks then it was all shiny for a few weeks after that) gave birth to her first kid today.

And named it Cornelius.

Kyle Sandilands in another reality show

So Kyle Sandilands and Tamara Jaber (ex Scandal'us band member) are totally milking the whole celebrity thing by shooting a pilot for their upcoming reality TV show about their lives.

Sorry, but here in Oz, if WAGS (Wives and Girlfriends) don't work out, Newlyweds-style TV isn't gonna be welcomed either. Especially from a couple who have been milking it in the media

Anthony Callea on Nip/Tuck?

No, just to end speculation he wasn't on the show last night. But what was REALLY freaky was the scene closer to the end of last night's Nip/Tuck episode how that tranny-loving son of a plastic surgeon, Matt, was shaving his hair off and became to look freakishly like Anthony Callea without hair!

Australian Fashion Design Awards...yeah

Sure they have better 'celebrities' appearing on the Australian Fashion Design Awards tonight, but I'm kinda annoyed they didn't acknowledge Samantha Harris making an appearance on the show. It's not all about Lara Bingle you know! That girl is now so overrated thanks to crappy reality TV show appearances and the recent drama with her taking Zoo Weekly to court for stealing her photos.

The show is fun to watch but Samantha Harris has achieved much more than Lara 'Bloody' Bingle!

Yay or Nay for Summer TV shows?

So the official ratings season is...well...officially over. So this means all TV networks BRING ON CRAP TV!

Seeing that showing pilot episodes from the US that were inevitably cancelled is a sure fire to get people to keep watching TV during summer. Channel 9 suffered a bit of a backlash with cost-cutting and bidding for all these hot shows from the US and plan to market the shit out of them leading up to it but ooh looky here! Half the shows they were so confident in creating a following for were cancelled in the US because of poor ratings. That's November sweeps for you 9, not all the shows you think is hott is gonna survive long enough for us to watch here.

I've recently decided to add a new blog to my blogging profile. Since summer has set upon us, there isn't really much reality TV to write about. So I've decided to write about pop culture to broaden my writing a bit. Thinking about writing has put me in a difficult position to figure out what to write first!
