Australian Open Men's Final
January 28th 2007 10:11
So far, 1 set down and Federer is in the lead. No surprises there.
You gota admit though he's got a challenger who won't die without a fight.
And as a typical Aussie I'm going for the underdog. Fernando Gonzalez is an unknown for me and I haven't noticed him since the year started. And taking the first set to a tiebreak shows he's gonna try and push Federer to the end. If he knocks Federer out he'll be the first guy to make Federer lose since August last year.
Now someone who hasn't lost a match since August is definitely A FREAK.
By the way, is it necessary to show slow motion moments of the players mid-hit or doing a very slow 'cooommmmeeee onnnnnnnnn' facial expression? It's quite offputting. Like watching the same wicket being bowled over and over again in the cricket. Not necessary and overanalysing it until you get carried off by the men in white jackets.
Go the underdog!
