Yay or Nay for Summer TV shows?

So the official ratings season is...well...officially over. So this means all TV networks BRING ON CRAP TV!
Seeing that showing pilot episodes from the US that were inevitably cancelled is a sure fire to get people to keep watching TV during summer. Channel 9 suffered a bit of a backlash with cost-cutting and bidding for all these hot shows from the US and plan to market the shit out of them leading up to it but ooh looky here! Half the shows they were so confident in creating a following for were cancelled in the US because of poor ratings. That's November sweeps for you 9, not all the shows you think is hott is gonna survive long enough for us to watch here.
And seeing it is summer, good old sitcoms that we can only watching during summer are coming back. I hear 'My Wife and Kids' is returning even though we're probably 2 years behind than the homeland. It's like 'Days of our Lives' all over again! We get so behind that they just jump straight into it and give us a paragraph to sum up what really happened over 5 years that they decided not to show. I didn't think it was possible for us to be THAT behind.
But, seriously I don't watch Days. I abhor soapies these days. I was using it as an example, not announcing to everyone in my first post on a new blog that I would stoop to that level!
I'm loving the fact that the OC is still being shown even though there's no timeslot to compete in. And Ten did something good by letting us watching the OC now instead of waiting til February when ratings matter. I also give them kudos for taking Rove on when Channel 9 ditched him.
So the shows I'm waiting on are Heroes, Ugly Betty and the return of My Wife and Kids. They're getting rave reviews over in the US so they MUST be good.
What shows are you excited to see this summer? Or NOT excited to see?
